Makeshift Sled

Just when I thought we would have a few days without the snow, it decided to slyly grace itself once again in the middle of the night! We have Drew up here with us for a few days while he interviews at LECOM, and it would only be fitting for him to experience what 6 inches of snow in one day truly feels like :)

Tyler and Lyla didn't seem to mind the freshly fallen snow. Lyla has developed a newfound love in taking "rides" in objects around our house, particularly her toy bucket and an old box from Walmart. The poor kid needs her wagon, but we left it in Texas thinking we'd have no use for it up here in the snow globe! That's okay, because Tyler's creative and he's found ways to create makeshift wagons/sleds for our little angel.

Otherwise, we're all doing wonderful. Tyler had his interview at TCOM this week and we're hoping to here some type of news by the end of March! We've been praying over this for a long time and we'll be so happy to know where the Lord will have us be, whether here or there.

I know ya'll have been so patient about seeing my blossoming belly so here's a picture Tyler snapped of me just a few days ago. I'm about 28 weeks right now. I'm feeling great and Adah has been quite the kicker, except she decides to get more active in the nighttime than during the day! Haha, I'm hoping to break her of this habit before she's born (how to do this- I'm not sure yet) but this momma is not nocturnal!!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend :)

I work for a King.

I work for a King. He has put me in charge of His home. When He comes to see how I have managed His possessions and His children, I do not want to be found wanting. I want to do my best. Everything I have is on loan from Him. I have room and board and a job to do, but it is all for Him.
Therefore I want to dress my best, and do my best in all my work. I also want to be creative, for this is a sincere attempt to glorify Him and His beautiful creation. How I manage my home is a form of worship to Him.
