It all started when we began telling Lyla that she was having a baby sister. We would let her kiss Adah's sonogram pictures and she would point to them all the time and call out, "Baby! Baby!" And suddenly as my belly has been growing, (not that Lyla has noticed this, right? ha!!) she loves to give my belly kisses and rubs because she thinks she's being sweet to the baby. However, lately she's been carrying around her babydoll that Gigi and Pop got her 2 Christmas' ago. She loves to move it all around, feed it, and give it kisses (of course!).
Then, one day, we got the bright idea to show Lyla videos of herself when she was a baby. Now, everytime she takes one glance at the computer she says, "Baby!!." Little does this little angel know that the baby in the videos is really her. She's absolutely fascinated by "the baby" and it's just about the only time during the day that Lyla really stays still for minutes at a time.
All for the love of the baby (she'll always be my little baby girl).

Ash, I think this is one of my all time favorite post that you have put up! This is so stinkin adorable! She's going to be such a great big sissy and I'm so excited for them to have each other to grow up with. Sister's are the BEST

She is PRECIOUS. I love her face when she is watching the video...like uh, what is this all about? (such an Ashley face) I cant believe she knows how to hug and feed and kiss the baby, she is going to be wonderful with Adah! Can't wait for that little nugget to get here!
