Favorite Toddler Gear of the Moment

I wanted to write this post for all the Mamma's out there who are looking for some helpful pointers in toddler gear for their little ones.

Hear are my fav's of the moment:

This little cup is so awesome because it has a weighted straw that will drop up or down as your child tips their sippy cup. It's great for kids who are learning to drink out of a sippy cup from a bottle because they are used to the motion of tilting a cup to get water/milk out of it. The straw will move to accomodate any tilting of the cup so toddlers don't get frusterated when they are trying to drink and nothing is coming out!

I'm loving this thermometer right now and I wish so bad I had it when Lyla was a baby! No need to even touch your child with this thermometer to get an accurate reading! So cool. It will be a great thing to have with Adah so that I can check her temperature in the middle of the night without ever waking her.

Lyla is about 16 months now and she loves to watch this particular Veggie Tales video. I would totally recommend any and all of the Veggie Tales videos. They are Christian based videos and they teach great lessons about the Lord.

Chalkboard and Chalk--- Photo from eHow
I have a chalkboard mounted low on Lyla's playroom wall and she LOVES to draw on it with her chalk (aka "goggi's" ). She came up with that word on her own :)

This is Lyla's favorite toy at the moment. She loves the farm animal songs the toy plays and it's really neat for her to learn how to place the animal magnets on the barn. The best part is that she plays with this while I'm cooking in the kitchen!

I work for a King.

I work for a King. He has put me in charge of His home. When He comes to see how I have managed His possessions and His children, I do not want to be found wanting. I want to do my best. Everything I have is on loan from Him. I have room and board and a job to do, but it is all for Him.
Therefore I want to dress my best, and do my best in all my work. I also want to be creative, for this is a sincere attempt to glorify Him and His beautiful creation. How I manage my home is a form of worship to Him.
