Good Morning Da Sleepy

Tyler and I have a bad habit. We like to name our pets and now, our daughter with 15 different names. Usually these nicknames don't ever contain the actual name, making it more confusing for all children and creatures who are trying to learn their names. We are horrible parents :)

Therefore, the name "To Sleepy" came about over the summer when Tyler and I were having troubles getting Lyla to fall asleep our her own. This nickname later evolved into "Da Sleepy" by Tyler's parents who didn't quite here what we were calling Lyla. So, there's a little backgroud...
------------------------------------------------------------
Mornings with Da Sleepy are usually almost always the same. Lyla wakes up around 6:50 every morning, bright eyed and bushey tailed. I bring her downstairs and change her diaper and go to the kitchen to make her a morning yogurt "ba ba" while she plays in her playroom. I'm always HOPING that she'll play in her playroom and not notice that I'm in the kitchen (where she is not allowed to be) however I always find her peering over the babygate leading to kitchen calling out "ba ba ba ba ba!!!" The girl knows what she wants!!
HOWEVER, this morning was a little different. Ellie decided to grace us with her presence.
Lyla loves Ellie, especially when Ellie allows Lyla to pet her. She's such a sweet kitty. When Ellie's had enough though, she goes under the couch for a morning nap. And, Lyla looks for her...
And then Lyla decides it would be fun to pick the lens cap off of the floor with her mouth :)
And finally, she caps off her morning by getting some walking practice in... All in a day's morning :)

I work for a King.

I work for a King. He has put me in charge of His home. When He comes to see how I have managed His possessions and His children, I do not want to be found wanting. I want to do my best. Everything I have is on loan from Him. I have room and board and a job to do, but it is all for Him.
Therefore I want to dress my best, and do my best in all my work. I also want to be creative, for this is a sincere attempt to glorify Him and His beautiful creation. How I manage my home is a form of worship to Him.
