Christmas Break, here we come!!!

Lyla had her 10 week appointment this past week and we found out some pretty fun news. Lyla is in the 93rd percentile for height, 70th percentile for weight and 32nd percentile for head circumfrence. And for the numbers, she's 11 lbs. 8 oz., 24 inches long and I don't remember her head circumfrence. Is anyone noticing a close resemblence to my husband?? Like father......like daughter? Before we know it, Lyla's going to be looking down on me! YIKES! I know you have been waiting patiently for me to post some more pics of the baby girl...so here we go!

And speaking of pictures, for Christmas this year my parents got Tyler and I this awesome Canon camera. Needless to say, I've been snapping shots ever since I've got this thing, and I have to say...I LOVE IT! So fun! Can't wait to use it when the fam gets up here.

This past week me and some of my girlfriends got together with the babies and made Stained Glass Cookie Ornaments! It was such a good way to get in the Christamas spirit. Here are a few pics...

We arrived ready to bake...

Playing while Momma was making cookies.

Cookie Ornaments begin...

This is my friend, Amanda :)

Becky and her adorable son,  Caleb.

And here is Luca. He's Amanda's precious son. This picture is the cutest thing I've ever seen.

When we got home, Daddy was almost finished with his last bit of finals. So, this moment called for a picture!

Tyler is finally finished with all of his finals. Praise God! God has been every bit of our strength this semester and we give him all the glory for Tyler's sucess so far in school and also for the creation of little Ladybug.

Oh! and Destin and Elli wanted to say HI to everyone too...

Hope ya'lls Christmas break is going as good as ours is so far! :)

I work for a King.

I work for a King. He has put me in charge of His home. When He comes to see how I have managed His possessions and His children, I do not want to be found wanting. I want to do my best. Everything I have is on loan from Him. I have room and board and a job to do, but it is all for Him.
Therefore I want to dress my best, and do my best in all my work. I also want to be creative, for this is a sincere attempt to glorify Him and His beautiful creation. How I manage my home is a form of worship to Him.
