Okay so the blogging has begun. I took off a few months while we spent the summer in Texas visiting family, and I know our family, especially, will want to take little peaks into our life as we are away from each other.
Let me start by saying we had the BEST SUMMER EVER. Lyla and I flew back to Texas in the beggining of May to help finish last minute wedding plans for my sister, Abigail's, wedding. It turned out absolutely perfect!

Our summer was spent hopping from my parents house for a week to Tyler's family's house for the next week. It was so great because we really got to spend quality time with our families as we were staying at their houses.
We had an early first birthday with Tyler's family for our big girl. Let me just tell ya, Lyla LOVES cake, but more than cake she LOOOOVES chocolate! Just like her Momma...
Thank you everyone for giving us such a rejuvenating and unforgettable summer...
